Atuando há mais de 43 anos no mercado do audiovisual. Reconhecido pelo seu trabalho de still de cinema, tendo trabalhado com diretores consagrados e filmagens premiadas, incluindo “O que é isso, companheiro?” (1997), “Memórias do cárcere” (1984), “Dois filhos de Francisco” (2005) e “Abolição” (1988). And more recently: "M-8 Quando a Morte Socorre a Vida" ("M-8 When Death Saves Life" ) (2019), "Barba, Cabelo e Bigode" ("Beard, Hair e Mustache") (2022). He also directed the music video for the awarded play "The Little Black Prince" (2020). In the last two years Vantoen has worked with both Netflix and Amazon Prime. Aside from his work as a photographer, he also works as a Photography teacher at SENAI/FIRJAN.
Holds a BA in Jornalism from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and started his career at the end of the 70s. With more than 40 years dedicated to audiovisuals, he founded TvZero in 1991, where he produced and co-produced feature films, short films and tv series. Directed two fiction movies "Júlio Sumiu" ("Júlio Dissapeared") (2014) and "Nise - O Coração da Loucura" ("Nise - The Heart of Insanity") (2016), featured in more than 40 festivals around the globe and winner of more than 20 awards. Directed both movies and show documentaries, played in festivals like IDFA, RIO, Mostra SP, and É Tudo Verdade. More recently, he directed a feature-length documentary "Os Quatro" ("The Four") (2020), selected for É Tudo Verdade 2020.
Works as an author and scriptwriter for Rede Globo and has created and written the Christmas Special "Juntos a Magia Acontece" ("Together the Magic Happens") (2019) as well as its 2021 sequel. The special was a hit and it was the first to feature a black family as the main protagonist. With it, Cleissa was the youngest person to be nominated for Scriptwriter of the Year at the ABRA Awards. She wrote the script for the third season of "We Are Five" (2023). Cleissa is getting a Master in Communication Studies (UFRJ), has a Bachelor's in Social Science (URFJ) and, for years has researched gender and race inequality in Brazilian cinema, some of them in Canada (UofA). Has won awards for her scripts on both Festival Curta Cinema and Prince Claus Fund.
Has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Cinema from UFF, completed a Certificate Program in Entertainment Management at ESPM and has eighteen years of professional experience acting in the main players of the national film market such as Globo Filmes, Secretary of State for Culture, Globosat and H2O Films. Currently, she is Executive Producer at TvZERO, production company responsible for productions such as “Gabriel and the Mountain” by Fellipe Barbosa, winner of 2 awards at the Critics' Week at Cannes in 2017, and the series “#CallmeBruna” , broadcasted on Fox Premium Channel and sold to 13 countries, among others.
Is a researcher. Holds a BA in History (UERJ), started her career on the magazine Brazil's History, where her passion for archival images was born.
Has been working on historical, image and content research for publishing, expositions, websites, movies and television since 2005. Also works on development, coordenation and licensing of projects for different mediums. Is the co-author of the book “A História do Trabalho no Porto do Rio de Janeiro” ("The Work History on the Ports of Rio de Janeiro"), alongside Pedro Tinoco (2019), by ID Cultural. She is also one of the directors of the short "Mangue Republic" (2020).
Creative producer, works in the development and production for cinema and TV. Post-graduated in Film Business at ESCAC-Barcelona, with specialization in executive production at EICTV-Cuba and Bachelor’s Degree in communication at UFRJ. Executive producer at TvZero Cinema, responsible for productions such as LOVELING; GABRIEL AND THE MOUNTAIN, winner of 2 awards at the 2017 Cannes Critics Week; 4 seasons of the series #CallmeBruna; and the doc serie.
