Works as an author and scriptwriter for Rede Globo and has created and written the Christmas Special \"Juntos a Magia Acontece\" (\"Together the Magic Happens\") (2019) as well as its 2021 sequel. The special was a hit and it was the first to feature a black family as the main protagonist. With it, Cleissa was the youngest person to be nominated for Scriptwriter of the Year at the ABRA Awards. She wrote the script for the third season of \"We Are Five\" (2023). Cleissa is getting a Master in Communication Studies (UFRJ), has a Bachelor's in Social Science (URFJ) and, for years has researched gender and race inequality in Brazilian cinema, some of them in Canada (UofA).
