great artist and one of the biggest Black figures to this day. He acted in both television and theater and even went on to direct his own movies. In more ways than one, his work crossed borders. However, his story is not just about the \u201cfather of black Brazilian cinema\u201d, it is also about a family, one that - like many other Black families in Brasil - was denied its identity.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This documentary intends to tell the story of Zozimo Bulbul through the intimate lens of his nephew Vantoen Pereira Jr. The focus of the story won\u2019t be just his professional trajectory, but also his political and activist involvement as an artist in several historical moments in Brazil, often as the only black person. It also intends to tell the story of a black family living in Zona Sul in Rio de Janeiro.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The movie will be a tribute to a son, a brother, an uncle, a husband.
